Jakarta, IO – The government has launched the 3B tour packages on Friday (20/9). Tourism and Creative Economy Minister Sandiaga Uno said they are expected connect tourist destinations in three regencies — Banyuwangi (East Java), West Bali and North Bali.
Sandiaga said that this step is also a realization of the government’s efforts to redistribute the tourism burden from South Bali to North Bali, West Bali and Banyuwangi, as per Detikcom, Mon (23/9).
The 3B tour packages can be bought since the launch with prices ranging from Rp350,000 to Rp700,000 per package. Sandiaga revealed that it was designed to accommodate various segments of tourists, from the upper, middle to lower classes through the integration of infrastructure and connected modes of transportation by air, sea and land.

Of the 7 million total number of tourists visiting Bali, the tour packages are expected to draw around 10-15 percent of the total visits, or around 700,000 to 1 million tourists entering west and north Bali via Banyuwangi.
The tour packages offers seamless integration of travel and the charm of natural tourism combined with traditional tourism villages showcasing rich cultural heritage of the local communities in each destination. (un)
