Jakarta, IO – The government has brought in former British Prime Minister Tony Blair to help build the Nusantara Capital City (IKN), revealed IKN Authority chief Bambang Susantono, after meeting Tony Blair in Jakarta on Wednesday (1/6).
“The meeting discussed One Map, One Plan, One Policy (1MPP) which integrates and consolidates all planning for activities by ministries/agencies relating to IKN,” said Bambang as reported by CNN Indonesia, Thursday (2/6).
According to Bambang, Tony Blair also emphasized his commitment and willingness to continue assisting the IKN Authority in the process of building the new capital city, including by promoting its potential to global audience.
Tony Blair, through the Tony Blair Institute (TBI) for Global Change, is actively conducting studies and paying special attention to Indonesia. Blair is also an esteemed figure and has a good relationship with investors.
