IO, Jakarta – Entering the third month of #WorkFromHome and #DiRumahAja in a global pandemic time, many activities or habits across most walks of life have changed, starting from the way we work, carry out activities, donate until the way we enjoy entertainment – this has also been changing.
This time, the Hype Festival, which is one of the leading promoters in the country, in collaboration with the Building Culture Movement (BCM) supported by the Ministry of Tourism & Creative Economy (Kemenparekraf) will hold “Good Vibrations”, a music festival with the aim of raising funds. The first “live streaming” event will involve 27 local and international DJs in Indonesia.
Through this charity music festival, the audience will be treated to exciting performances from renowned DJs. In addition, the audience are also invited to donate together for fundraising, through the official kitabisa.com/bcmbergerak account.
All donations collected will be used to help workers affected by COVID-19, such as creative industrial workers, arts workers, tourism industry workers, hospitality workers, restaurant workers, part-time workers and other informal workers. As a result of COVID-19 pandemic, they have difficulty meeting basic daily needs as well as crucial health needs.
The music festival “Good Vibrations” is held on live streaming from the Hype Chamber took place on 5-7 June 2020, and will take place on 12- 14 June 2020 through YouTube and Twitch channels (twitch.tv). The event was enlivened by international DJs such as Andrew Rayel, Avao, Blinders, Christina Novelli, Firebeatz, Futuristic Polar Bears, Jerome Isma-Ae, Khomha, Myom, Sam Feldt, and local hero DJs such as Apsara, Dipha Barus, Hogi (Future10), House Cartel, Indra 7, Irene Agustine, Kana & Mayo (Tripo 3000), LTN, Patricia Schuldtz, Pixiee, P. Joana, Redy, Six Pratama, Stan, WW and Yasmin.
