IO – For Golkar Party, bearing the banyan tree symbol, 2024 will be a pivotal year, stated Airlangga Hartarto, Party Chairman. He urges the cadres to set another winning record for the party.
“Not only do we have to win but 2024 is also a chance for Golkar to reach its age of 60, or six decades of the Party,” Airlangga declared, at a virtual event celebrating the Party’s 57th anniversary, in Jakarta on Sunday (31/10/2021).
“We must make history, certifying that Golkar Party will win the presidential, legislative, and regional head elections again,” he said.
Airlangga also asked all cadres to have a roadmap for the upcoming
2024 events. He said, “We already have a winning basis in the regional
head elections, at 62% achievement and organizational consolidations.
Amid the Covid-19 pandemic in 2021, we will complete the consolidation in attracting public support, starting to recruit witnesses at each polling station and socializing the Chairman of the Golkar Party to the public.”
Airlangga is determined to win 20% of the seats in the House of Representatives in the upcoming legislative election. As for the presidential election, he targets 60%.
“Victory for the Golkar Party is not merely to acquire power, but as a means to improve the welfare of the people, so that society may become healthy and prosperous.”
“We still have three more years to consolidate our strengths, unite our
steps, win public sympathy and win the people’s hearts for the Golkar Party,” he said. (des)
