Jakarta, IO – The Attorney General’s Office (Kejagung) has named Hasnaeni (H) a.k.a the “golden lady” as one of the suspects in the alleged misappropriation of funds from PT Waskita Beton Precast (WBP), a subsidiary of state-owned construction firm Waskita Karya, in the period between 2016-2020.
H was named a suspect along with retired WBP employee identified as KJ and the former WBP president director JS, Detik reported on Friday (23/9).
H and KJ were arrested and detained separately. However, H pretended to be sick despite the medical certificate stating that she was healthy.
AGO staff decided to forcibly picked up Hasnaeni on Friday (22/9). Resisting the attempt, she screamed hysterically when she was taken into the vehicle. The scene immediately went viral on social media.

H is known for her sensational self-promotion. She became popular when posters of about her titled “Golden Lady Turned Trash into Gold” were plastered on Jakarta public buses several years ago. In 2011, she participated in the selection of for Jakarta gubernatorial candidates organized by PDI-P. However, her foray into politics was short-lived. (un)
