Jakarta, IO – GoEasy Smart Technology, the manufacturer of GoEasy electric vehicles, has introduced an electric motor and battery swap cabinet system that allows drivers to quickly swap discharged batteries for fresh ones. With the Go Easy battery exchange cabinet, a driver can continue along on his or her journey, without worrying about running out of power.

Director of GoEasy Smart Technology Xuelong Wang said GoEasy integrates research, development and manufacturing, focusing on developing EV and lithium batteries, based on a development and manufacturing process, as well as long experience in China and India. His company has introduced economical value electric motorbike products that make it easier for users, especially in using and replacing batteries while traveling.

“We offer more benefits to consumers. First, consumers can buy only electric motor units without batteries at special prices. Furthermore, consumers can rent battery subscriptions,” said Wang.

He conveyed this when appearing as a speaker in an interactive discussion session entitled “Exploring New Battery Technologies And Battery Management Systems”, at the 2023 Indonesia International Trade Show for Automotive Industry (INAPA), held at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta. Apart from Wang, the discussion presented speaker Evvy Kartini, the Founder of the National Battery Research Institute (NBRI).

“We hope to be part of Indonesia’s economic growth. GoEasy opens opportunities for collaboration with stakeholders, including the government, managers and online transportation business actors, as well as small and medium enterprise groups (SMEs) in Indonesia. Together we can encourage society to take part in the energy transition,” said Wang, while showing the battery swap system, which is planned to be launched in the near future.

In the discussion, Xuelong Wang and Evvy Kartini agreed that the switch from conventional vehicles to electric vehicles had many benefits, especially from an economic standpoint. Besides being environmentally friendly, electric vehicles reduce fuel costs dramatically.

“By general calculations, running with an electric motor is much cheaper when compared with internal combustion motors. Service is also relatively easy,” explained Wang.

According to him, GoEasy is ready to open the first COCO (company-owned, company-operated) showroom soon in Jakarta, and educate the public about the various benefits of electric vehicles, such as efficiency, cost-effectiveness and environmental friendliness, which will bring about significant changes in reducing carbon emissions generated by Indonesia. With this technology, GoEasy supports the Government of Indonesia in achieving its Net Zero Emission target in 2060.
