Jakarta, IO – A four-meter-long gigantic Komodo dragon lantern amazed the residents of Wellington when it was displayed at the Wellington Lantern Festival, the largest international lantern festival in New Zealand, Saturday (19/11).
Indonesian Ambassador to New Zealand Fientje Suebu said Indonesia participated in the event by opening booths that exhibited various superior domestic and tourism products, reported Kompas TV, Monday (21/11).
“This Komodo dragon-shaped lantern has succeeded in stealing the attention of visitors because it is one of the biggest and most attractive lanterns at this festival. The Indonesian Embassy in Wellington participated in this event to promote Indonesia’s potentials in the fields of trade, culture and tourism,” said Fientje.
