Jakarta, IO – Gerindra Party’s central leadership board is targeting East Java as a “vote basket” to boost Prabowo Subianto’s 2024 elections chance. Gerindra secretary general Ahmad Muzani said East Java has the potential to become a new voters base to secure Prabowo’s victory in 2024.
“East Java is very strategic in the electoral map of the presidential race. Thus, Gerindra is determined to make East Java a new voters base for Prabowo,” said Muzani on Tuesday (5/4).

Muzani’s statement is backed by the survey by the Indonesian Survey Institute (LSI) which showed Prabowo trailing Central Java governor Ganjar Pranowo as the most favourite presidential candidate among East Java residents.
