Jakarta, IO – Gerindra Party has confirmed that it will continue to nominate its chairman Prabowo Subianto for the 2024 presidential election. This statement was conveyed by the party’s vice chairman Sugiono in response to Prabowo’s open statement that he is open to the possibility of not competing in the presidential race in the next two years, Wednesday (1/6).
“Our focus at Gerindra is clear, support and deliver victory for Pak Prabowo in 2024,” said Sugiono, as reported by CNN Indonesia, Friday (3/6).

Sugiono said currently his party has no other choice but to nominate its chairman because that is the aspirations of all Gerindra cadres that have been declared in a number of regions.
