Jakarta, IO – Gerindra Party appreciates the law enforcement action by Attorney General ST Burhanudin, who named the Trade Ministry’s international trade director general Indrasari Wisnu Wardhana as a suspect behind the recent shortage and surging cooking oil prices. According to him, this is evident of the state’s presence in combating the cooking oil mafia.
“We appreciate the Attorney General and his staff who managed to identify the suspects and detained them in the cooking oil shortage and price hike,” said Gerindra Party spokesperson Habiburokhman on Thursday (21/4).

Habiburokhman said the Attorney General’s Office (AGO) is very responsive in investigating corruption cases, which not only cause state loss, but also damage the economy and directly harm the people. “The move by the Attorney General is a concrete proof that the state will not surrender to cooking oil mafia and whoever is involved must be ready to go to jail,” he said.
