IO, Jakarta – The band Why Don’t We is greeting its fans in Indonesia. Within just two weeks, we will be able to watch them on stage in Jakarta. The Concert, titled Full Color presents Why Don’t We – 8 Letters Tour Live in Jakarta, will be held on Thursday, 21 November 2019 at The Kasablanka, Kota Kasablanka Mall. The Concert will be opened by popular local band The Overtunes.

David Ananda, Full Color Entertainment’s Managing Director, expressed his pleasure at bringing in Why Don’t We for their first concert in Indonesia. “The enthusiasm of Why Don’t We fans is special. This is proven from their warm welcome when we opened up presale class seats of their concert tickets – the tickets sold out within minutes. However, there is no need to worry – regular class seat tickets are still available online at Book My Show, or offline at the Full Color Entertainment counter in Taman Anggrek Mall Jakarta. The Why Don’t We concert will be opened by the band of brothers now famous in Indonesia, The Overtunes. If you haven’t got the tickets, go get the tickets now, before we run out,” he said.

Why Don’t We is a member with five talented young members: Jonah Marais, Corbyn Besson, Daniel Seavey, Jack Avery, and Zach Herron. Their career skyrocketed since their establishment in 2016: many pop music fans love the band. They have strong and consistent social media support, which helps to maintain their sold-out streak in different countries all over the world. Their fans always welcome them with warmth and near-hysteria.

Even before forming Why Don’t We, each of the members have their own special talents: Jonah and Corbyn frequently live-streamed on the net, the same as Zach. Each of them had their own hits and they were individually watched by millions of virtual audiences around the globe. Jack has many fans in YouTube, and Daniel garnered fans too from his success in American Idol. They frequently met during solo performances in various events. After knowing each other better, they found out that they clicked. They created a personal chat room for themselves, and finally ended up with the band ‘Why Don’t We?” after somebody asked that very question.

Their synergy is so tight that they created the 4-song mini album Only the Beginning’ with their debut songs “Something Different”, “Why Don’t We Just”, “Invitation”, and “A Why Don’t We Christmas”. Their song clips are watched by more than 300 million people on YouTube and heard more than 200 million times on Spotify. Even better, in 2018 they sang Ed Sheeran’s song “Trust Fund Baby”. Their songs are magic: as a new band, Why Don’t We performed in world-class special events like the iHeart Jingle Ball Tour and in venues like the Madison Square Garden, they have performed in shows like Good Morning America and Live with Kelly and Ryan, and they have shared stages with stars like Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran.

Their first tour in their native America was a smashing success. Their concert tickets are consistently sold out in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, and Toronto. Rolling Stone magazine called them “must-hear talented singers”, while The Today Show called them “One of the biggest pop music breakthroughs ever.” Under Atlantic Records (Warner Music Groups), Why Don’t We released their first full album, 8 Letters. The album’s title, derived from the number of letters in the words “I Love You”, expressed their feelings towards their beloved fans who loved them since their indie days. It is no wonder that they choose to use the meaningful phrase as the name of their first Indonesian concert in Jakarta.
