Jakarta, IO – Statistics Indonesia (BPS) announced that the number of foreign tourist arrivals in April reached 111,060, up nearly 500% year-on-year and 172.3% month-to-month as the tourism sector bounced back.
“This figure is the highest since the beginning of the pandemic,” said Margo in a virtual press conference on Thursday (2/5).

Cumulatively, in the period between January and April 2022, the number of foreign tourists entering through key entry points reached 185,440.
