Jakarta, IO – Argentina Football Asociacion (AFA) confirmed the schedule for a friendly match against the Indonesian national team through its official website, Monday (22/5).
Argentina team will visit Indonesia for the Asia 2023 tour. Other than playing in Jakarta on June 19, La Albuceleste will also have a match with Australia, reported Detik.
“The national team led by Lionel Scaloni will compete in June in China and Indonesia. Friendly matches that have been confirmed. June 15, Argentina vs Australia, then June 19, Argentina vs Indonesia in Jakarta,” said AFA in a written statement.

The official news from AFA also adds to the list of countries that the Indonesian national team will play against in June. Apart from Lionel Messi’s team, the Garuda squad is also scheduled to face off against the Palestinian national team.
The Argentina national team is a formidable team in global football. Apart from Messi, Argentina has a number of other stars such as Angel Di Maria and Paulo Dybala. The team often wins international football championships, including the recent 2022 World Cup in Qatar. (un)
