Jakarta, IO – A resident of Lamongan was shocked when he discovered the wreckage of a combat aircraft found in Weru village, Paciran, East Java.
In a viral video lasting about 1 min 22 sec the fisherman can be seen standing next to the plane part lying on a beach. He said he found it when he was at sea catching fish on Sunday (21/5).
Zaki Yamani, a history buff from the Begandring Soerabaia community, suspects it was part of the wing of a Dutch plane.
“It looks like the right wing,” Zaki said, reported Detik, Thursday (25/5).
“I believe it is part of a Martin 166 WH-3 bomber. People often call it Martin bomber.”
