Jakarta, IO – The incident happened at I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport, Bali, when President Joko Widodo and First Lady Iriana Joko Widodo descended the presidential aircraft stairs, reported detik on Monday (14/11). Members of presidential security detail (Paspampres) immediately came to her aid.
The Palace confirmed that First Lady Iriana Joko Widodo is in good condition and that she will still attend the G20 event this afternoon, confirmed Presidential Secretariat’s Deputy for Protocol, Press and Media Bey Machmudin.
Meanwhile, First Son Gibran Rakabuming Raka said the incident happened due to exhaustion after a trip from Cambodia where she accompanied the president to attend the ASEAN summit.
“(She) arrived last night from Cambodia, around 01.00 or 02.00. But it’s okay, she is fine. Just tired,” said Gibran.

Gibran understands that a busy national agenda, such as the inauguration of the Sheikh Zayed Mosque in Solo, and the G20 in Bali, makes all parties tired. According to him, not only the President and the First Lady, all Ministers are also exhausted.
“Yes, everyone is tired, the ministers are also tired. But it’s okay, the important thing is that the events will run smoothly,” he said. (rr)
