Jakarta, IO – Ex-police internal affairs division chief Inspector General Ferdy Sambo, who has been named the suspect in the murder of Police Brigadier Nofriansyah Yosua Hutabarat (“Brigadier J”), underwent an ethics trial today, Thursday (25/8) at the National Police headquarters.
This is the first time Ferdy Sambo appeared in public after being named a suspect. He showed up wearing a police service uniform at around 07.30 WIB.
The ethics trial was led by the Police’s Head of Intelligence and Security Commissioner General Ahmad Dofiri and is held behind closed door.
Meanwhile, Police spokesperson Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo said that a number of witnesses were brought into the trial, namely former internal security bureau chief Brigadier General Hendra Kurniawan, former internal affairs bureau chief Brigadier General Benny Ali, enforcement bureau head Chief Commissioner Susanto and former South Jakarta Police head Chief Commissioner Budhi Herdi Susianto.
