During a meeting with the House Committee III on Monday (4/4), the State Palace through Cabinet Secretary denied funding the movement to extend President Jokowi’s term to three term which has sparked public controversy recently.
Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung said that neither Cabinet Secretariat (Setkab), State Secretariat (Setneg) nor Presidential Staff Office (KSP) has the budget to fund the movement. Pramono also said that President Jokowi had responded to the discourse four times. He also believes that the public can clearly see the President’s stance.
“The Presidents has spoken publicly about the issue, the last one on March 30 at Borobudur. I believe what the president said was amply clear,” he said. (rr)
