The route at Kemuning Tea Plantation presents stretched green hills with Mount Lawu on the east side. Tourists will be interested in viewing the traditional tea leave-picking process.

Pipit, the tour guide who accompanied tourists that day, explained that renting a jeep to enjoy the views of the tea plantations down to the river costs IDR 400,000 to IDR 700,000. “The short route costs IDR 400,000 for a two-hour trip, and the long route costs IDR 700,000 for 5 hours,” she said. One jeep fleet can carry a maximum of four people, and wearing a helmet or headgear is a must.
