Jakarta, IO – This was revealed by Tourism and Creative Economy Ministry expert staffer Nia Niscaya. She said the airline saw a surge in demand for flight to Bali.
“Starting from September 1 to October 26, Emirates will operate two A380s (the world’s largest passenger airliner and the only full-length double-deck jet airliner) to serve 14 flights per week to Bali,” said Nia, as per Kompas, Thu (7/8).
Nia expected this will boost passenger capacity to 8,610 seats per week, from previously 7,301 and boost the number of foreign tourists especially from the Middle East and North Africa.
“I would like to thank the Transport Ministry for granting the flight permit and to Emirates for adding more flights,” said Nia.

“This will certainly provide more options for tourists and from us of course this will help to achieve the target of foreign arrivals to Indonesia.”
The Airbus A380 fleet will replace the airline’s Boeing 777. Emirates first launched its first A380 flight to Indonesia on June 1, 2023 and has seen its popularity surging. (un)
