IO, Manado – According to information from Election Supervisory Committee Commissioner Taufiq Bilfaqih, Lesman Sahoa has passed away on Monday, May 13, 2019. Lesman was hospitalized for a month in Manado.
“He (Lesman Sahoa) had a decline in health. Since then he was hospitalized. The illness he suffered from was said to be a lack of salt. He then became tired and depressed,” said Taufiq on Tuesday.
The Manado Election Supervisory Body (Bawaslu), said Taufiq, lost a hard working Panwas personnel. “The late (Lesman) dedicated himself to his national duties very well. We mourn his loss,” he said.
There have been twelve election organizers, including in the Voting Organizers Group (KPPS) and District Vote Collecting Committee (PPSK), in North Sulawesi who have died during the 2019 general election. (dsy)
