IO – Portuguese football star Cristiano Ronaldo has been officially introduced as the newest Global Brand Ambassador of Free Fire, the first game developed by platform and internet company Garena.
Free Fire is a Survival Game where 50 players are stranded on a remote island and must knock each other out. This game developed and released by Garena is available on iOS and Android.
In the near future, the Survivors will be able to play Cristiano Ronaldo whose character is named Chrono. It is told that this character is carrying out the “Operation: Chrono” mission which takes place in a new universe with the theme of a futuristic metropolis that is messy and chaotic. In a world full of sophisticated technology, there is a hero who can inspire many people to stay alive and be excited.
“It feels great not only to have a character in a game like Free Fire imitate me but also to have an in-game universe specially created for this collaboration. The Garena team has worked hard to bring many interesting features and elements to Operation: Chrono. I hope Free Fire players around the world are as passionate as me!” said Ronaldo, who now plays for the Italian club Juventus.
