IO – “The Corruption Eradication Commission ( KPK) has saved the State IDR 440.6 billion in terms of monies & assets seized & recovered throughout 2020,” announced KPK Chairman Firli Bahuri during a Joint Hearing between the House of Representatives (DPR)’ Committee III, the KPK, and KPK’s Monitoring Council for the evaluation of the execution of KPK’s duties and function for 2020, in the Senayan Parliamentary Complex, Jakarta, on Wednesday (10/03/2021).
In terms of asset recovery, organization, and optimizing, KPK works diligently, in conjunction with all relevant State Ministries and Agencies to save the State from potential losses of some IDR 592.4 trillion. In the execution of its duties, the KPK has performed 29 reviews and 65 recommendations throughout the year, all of which have been duly submitted to the Government and to relevant Ministries and Agencies.
Furthermore, Firli said, KPK is perform corrective actions by taking mendations throughout the year, all convinced that the people want Instrict actions against 109 corruption of which have been duly submitted to donesia to be cleansed of corruption. perpetrators all last year,” he said. (des)
