Jakarta, IO – The House passed the Correctional center bill into law in a plenary session on Thursday (7/7).

Article 9c, in particular, stipulates that a convict is entitled to recreation while imprisoned, Detik reported.

“Convicts are entitled to education, teaching, and recreational activities as well as opportunities to develop [one’s] potential,” it reads.

“Recreational activities” are defined as free daily physical exercise activities in the open air and additional time for daily entertainment, arts, or skills development activities.
