Jakarta, IO – This week, constitutional courts from around the world will gather in Bali. A series of seminars will be held and feature opening remark from President Joko Widodo. “This congress will be attended by constitutional courts or equivalent institutions from 84 countries,” Indonesian Constitution Court (MK) wrote in its press release, Monday (3/10).
MK will host the 5th World Conference on Constitutional Justice (WCCJ) which carries the theme “Constitutional Justice and Peace” from October 4-7 at the Nusa Dua Convention Center, Bali.
“At the same time, MK will also hold the Indonesian Constitutional Court International Symposium (ICCIS), the joint conference of the Association of Asian Constitutional Courts and Equivalent Institutions (AACC) and the Conference of Constitutional Jurisdictions of Africa (CCJA), and the AACC International Short Course,” it reads.
