Arriving at the village, a beautiful scenery, cool atmosphere and fresh air feels like a luxury, a break from the hustle and bustle of a big city like Jakarta.
We stayed at the house of Pak Upar, the village official. His house looks the same as all the other residents’, mainly constructed from bamboo.
Pak Upar said that Ciptagelar, although still maintaining its traditional customs that have existed for hundreds of years, does not close itself to the modern technology advancement and education.
