Rawa Kucing landfill fire Still Raging on the 4th day
A fire has been raging at the Rawa Kucing Final Disposal Site (TPA) in Tangerang since last Friday (20/10). As of Monday (23/10), around 30 percent of the burned area has yet to be extinguished despite efforts by Tangerang Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD). Around 80 percent of the 34 hectare area has been scorched. In this incident, a warehouse and a number of collection yards were also impacted.
