The surplus was due to robust export performance which jumped 5.58 percent from US$22.85 billion in November 2021 to US$24.12 billion in November 2022, mainly driven by exports of mineral fuels (HS 27), vegetable and animal fats (HS 15) and iron and steel (HS 72). Meanwhile, oil and gas commodities posted a deficit of US$ 1.67 billion. (un)
