IO, SOLO – A number of people who are members of Gabungan Presidium Rakyat Bergerak (Gaprak) held a peaceful demonstration at the office of the Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) in Solo City. They urged that a Fact-Finding Team (TPF) be formed immediately to revealed the mysterious death-cause of hundreds of KPPS Officers, Supervisory Committee and also police officers. According to Gaprak’s spokesman, Endro Sudarsono, the concurrently deaths of hundreds of officers this election was a very extraordinary event.
It’s seems like the Government and other state-agencies that related are not responding this mysterious death cases that afflicts hundreds of election officers seriously.
Endro compared with some cases of sudden death of poultry and hundreds of fish can be quickly responded with an investigation. Now we have a case of mysterious deaths that causing numerous casualties, they die while doing their job for this country. And so far, there is no investigative or any kind of effort.
“This case can’t and shouldn’t considered as trivial, and ends by easily compensate family members that was left behind. the Government and other state-agencies that involved must give at least an explanation, because the KPPS is under the KPU and must be investigated,” Endro said.
“When one poultry is found dead, the case was immediately investigated. Same thing happens when hundreds of fish that died suddenly. And now we are faced with 500 people that died mysteriously, and there is no investigation at all. Are humans’ lives being lower than animals.
