National Police spokesperson Brig. Gen. Ahmad Ramadhan said Ahyudin and Ibnu Khajar issued a joint decision to take 20-30 percent cut from the donations. They also enjoyed other facilities on top of the salary.

Ramadhan said Ahyudin and Ibnu also sit as directors and commissioners in legal entities affiliated with ACT. According to regulation, the business proceeds of a legal entity established by a foundation may not be used for personal gain.

Ahyudin, continued Ramadhan, also used various donations collected, including from Boeing, not according to their intended purpose. The misappropriation was also carried out by Ibnu Khajar who was said to cooperate with vendors working on Boeing’s Community Investment Fund (BCIF) CSR projects to assist the families of Lion Air JT-610 crash victims.

“As the president, he played a crucial role in determining the appropriation of the 30 percent cut from the fund,” added Ramadhan. Meanwhile, Hariyana and Novariadi used the 20-30 percent cut from the donations to pay for staff salaries. (un)
