According to him, the linguistic phenomenon that arises as a result of increasingly intensive language contact requires systematic handling in the form of linguistic rules that are more adaptive, responsive, and accommodating. Through adaptive, responsive, and accommodative rules, language users can express their thoughts, ideas, and feelings in a more orderly, good, and directed manner.

“One of our efforts to enhance the language is to provide a spelling system that regulates how language is used so that it is proper, precise, and appropriate. Bahasa Indonesia is the language of unity which allows us a nation to communicate without difficulty,” he said.
