Australian national fell from a hotel’s 4th floor in Bali

Jakarta, IO – Sean Johnaton (46), an Australian citizen fell to his death from the fourth floor of a hotel on Seminyak St., Kuta, Bali.

Based on CCTV image, he entered the hotel room looking disoriented before he fell, Detik reported on Thursday (21/7).

“The CCTV footage showed the victim staggering into the hotel room number 403 alone,” said Denpasar Police spokesperson First Inspector I Ketut Sukadi.

Sukadi said the Australian was found dead lying face down with his left hand beside his body and his right arm bent over his head. He suffered broken arms and legs and bleeding from the head. He was found wearing only black shorts with a army camo pattern, with no shirt.

Sukadi said the incident occurred on Wednesday (20/7) at around 20.00 Indonesian Central Time. “After an external examination was carried out by a nurse from the Kuta II Health Center by checking the pulse and pupil, the victim was procounced dead at the scene,” said Sukadi. (rr)
