Jakarta, IO – PT Angkasa Pura II president director Muhammad Awaluddin and three other officials –president director of PT Angkasa Pura Solusi, managing director of PT Angkasa Pura Aviasi and CEP representatives from GMR Airports — were reported to National Police Criminal Investigation Bureau (Bareskrim Polri) over the death of Asiah Sinta Dewi Hasibuan who fell from an elevator at Kualanamu Airport, North Sumatra, Monday (24/4).
Polri spokesperson Ahmad Ramadhan said they were reported by the victim’s husband Ahmad Faisal on Tuesday (2/5). “Regarding the alleged criminal act of negligence, which resulted in the death of a person according to Article 359 of the Penal Code,” Ahmad said in a written statement, reported CNN Indonesia, Friday (5/5).
Asiah was found dead in a state of decomposition after falling from the Kualanamu Airport elevator, Thursday (27/4). The family had reported Asiah missing because they could not contact her.

The case is being investigated by the North Sumatra Regional Police. Its spokesperson Hadi Wahyudi said the police have formed a special team to expedite the handling of the case. (at)
