Sukoharjo, IO – A loud explosion happened at the Police’s Mobile Brigade (Brimob) dormitory in Grogol Indah, Solo Baru, Sukoharjo, Central Java, Sunday (25/9) at 18.00 WIB.
One police officer is reportedly injured, suffering severe burn. Police source said the explosion appeared to come from a cardboard box placed outside the dormitory, Detik reported on Monday (26/9).
Central Java Police spokesperson Chief Commissioner Iqbal Alqudusy said that the injured police is identified as DP has been rushed to the hospital.
“The victim was covered in blood. He was helped by local residents and was taken to the Solo Baru Indriyati Hospital and then referred to the Moewardi Hospital in Surakarta,” he said.
