Jakarta, IO – Golkar Party chairman Airlangga Hartarto hinted that the United Indonesia Coalition (KIB) made up of Golkar, PAN and PPP would soon nominate a candidate for the upcoming presidential election.
However, Airlangga is still reluctant to reveal who and when the announcement will be made. However, he confirmed that the candidate is a political party figure. “KIB has its own candidate, and KIB has agreed that the candidate will be a party figure,” said Airlangga in an online talk show, Monday (10/10).
He also emphasized that KIB’s communication with other political parties will be very fluid. He also answered diplomatically that although KIB will come up with a candidate, it will still take future political dynamics into account.
