According to her, acting requires more mental strength than singing, because when singing he can be herself. “Acting is more mental, maintaining character is more consistent. The challenges are different: singing uses more vocals and can be completed in one day, while acting takes days; the hours are erratic. You can wait all day to take just one scene; it could be canceled too,”.

Born as Dyah Rahmi Saraswati , Aimee Saras (born 14 August 1983) is an Indonesian jazz singer and actress. In 2014, she filled in for the soundtrack of the film Good Morning, Evening with a song called “To NY”.

Aimee is a graduate of the University of New York. She started her career as off-Broadway musical theater performer “Miss Saigon” in New York, and when she arrived in Indonesia she played the main character in “Onrop! Even though she has loved singing since she was little and took part in activities related to musical theater and acting classes, Aimee was not allowed by her mother to take theater education.

“I had an agreement to pursue an education that didn’t lead to musical theatre, but after that I was in charge when choosing what to do,” he said.

Now, her mother continues to support Aimee’s career in music and acting. (rp)
