Jakarta, IO – To supports the activities during Indonesia’s G20 presidency, the Soekarno-Hatta International Airport (SHIA) Police receive one unit of BMW type 330e electric car to be used to provide security during the summit to be held in November.
“The National Police (Polri) fully supports the implementation of the G20. We have also aligned our vision to G20’s, namely sustainable energy transition,” said SHIA police head Chief Commissioner Sigit Dany Setiyono on Tuesday (18/10).
Sigit said apart from supporting the police in carrying out their duties, the collaboration with BMW also reflects a modern police force and its willingness to “go green” which can inspire a moral movement.
“We have reported this to the police chief, National Police Traffic Corps (Korlantas) chief and Jakarta Traffic Police chief. And recently, we accompanied the SOE Minister to welcome FIFA president, we conveyed that the police in carrying out their duties are being supported by the business sector,” said Sigit.
