AGO auctions off a number of impounded apartments acquired from proceeds of corruption and money laundering

Jakarta, IO – The auction was organized by the Attorney General’s Office (AGO) Asset Recovery Division in cooperation with Jakarta’s State Assets and Auction Services (KPKNL), reported CNBC Indonesia, Thursday (12/1).

The apartments were impounded from Heru Hidayat, a corruption convict in the PT Asuransi Jiwasraya case.

They are Pakubuwono Signature Tower Sattinwood Apartments No. 51D and 51H measuring 319sqm estimated to worth around Rp18 billion, Setiabudi Sky Garden Tower Sky Apartment Type II Unit 3809 measuring 76sqm (Rp2.6 billion), Senopati Suites Tower 2 Apartment No. 6A measuring 207sqm (Rp7.2 billion), Pakubuwono Residence Tower Baswood Apartment, 9th Floor No. B09E measuring 270sqm (Rp9.8 billion) and Sentra Timur Residence Tower Orange Apartment, 10th floor, Unit O1002D measuring 30sqm (Rp307.1 million).

AGO also auctioned off plots of land and buildings measuring 541sqm located in Jatinegara, East Jakarta, estimated to worth Rp13.5 billion from Hendra Rahardja who was convicted in the corruption of Bank Indonesia Liquidity Support (BLBI) funds. (un)
