Jakarta, IO – Jordi Amat and Sandy Walsh pledged loyalty to Indonesia the Jakarta office of the Law and Human Rights Ministry, Thursday (17/11).

Both of them were also fluent and eloquent in singing the anthem Indonesia Raya and enunciating the oath.

The Soccer Association of Indonesia (PSSI) chairman Mochamad Iriawan was grateful that the two players eventually became Indonesian citizens.

“Thank God, Jordi and Sandy officially became Indonesian citizens. Thank you, Indonesian government and all those who have helped in the naturalization process. We hope they can give their best for Indonesian national team,” said Iriawan in an official statement.

“This is a special day. I want to thank PSSI chairman, as well as the Indonesian government. I am at loss for words to describe my feelings right now, but I’m very happy. Thank you very much. I promise to give my everything for this country, for my country,” said Jordi enthusiastically.
