Jakarta, IO – Two sisters were found dead in a house in Taman Sari, West Jakarta on Monday (21/11). Taman Sari Police Chief Superintendent Rohman Yongki Dilatha said their bodies were found after neighbours complained of unpleasant smell emanating from the house.
“After we went inside to check, we found two bodies,” said Rohman, reported CNN Indonesia, Saturday (26/11).
Rohman revealed that one of them is suspected to suffer from mental illness. “They were over 70 years old. The woman was taking care of her sister with mental illness. They were siblings,” he said.
Rohman also confirmed that from the conditions of the bodies, no foul play was suspected.
“The autopsy results showed that both of them died from old age. Their family wanted to take their bodies immediately but we told them to wait for the autopsy results first for investigation purpose,” he said. (un)
