Jakarta, IO – Statistics Indonesia (BPS) announced 10 cities with the most expensive cost of living in Indonesia based on cost-of-living survey conducted in 2018.
The high cost of living is influenced by several factors. Generally, the bigger a city is, the more expensive the cost of living will be, because the prices of basic necessities will also increase.

Citing BPS website on Thursday (12/5), the average total expenditure per capita means the costs incurred by one family member in a month. While the average total household expenditure means the costs incurred by a four-member family in a month.
